Within the framework of the two-year project REACT for Georgia: Resilient, Engaged, Active Civil Society for Transformation, funded by the European Union and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, RICDOG serves as the Civil Society Hub for the Imereti region.

The goal of the project is to strengthen local civil society across Georgia’s regions in order to promote democratic governance and civic engagement. The activities planned within the project aim to support the implementation of grassroots community initiatives, enhance youth skills, and foster collaboration with local businesses. The project also includes a grant component to support civil society organizations, local initiatives, civic activists, and corporate social responsibility efforts.

The activities will be implemented in 10 regions of Georgia, including Imereti.

As part of the project, 4 young leaders have also been selected. Through the implementation of youth initiatives, they work to increase youth engagement and participation in the region.
