RICDOG 'One-Time Trainings' with American Volunteers
Research-Intellectual Club "Dialogue of Generations"(RICDOG) continues to actively implement the “One Time Trainings” program. The project aims to develop practical skills among young people that are essential for self-realization in a modern, competitive environment.
Within the framework of the program, the trainings cover a wide range of diverse and relevant topics:
• Career Development: effective CV writing and scholarship application strategies;
• Media Literacy: critical analysis of mass media and information filtering;
• Communication and Peace: conflict management at local and global levels;
• Creative Industries: storytelling, product design, and branding.
The organization hosts Peace Corps American volunteers on a monthly basis, who share their professional experience and knowledge with participants in an interactive format. Each session is a synthesis of theoretical content and practical exercises, which facilitates the immediate acquisition of knowledge.
One of the core values of the program is cultural dialogue. During the trainings, American guests introduce participants to aspects of life in the United States and Western work ethics, while Georgian youth, in turn, share their own perspectives and cultural viewpoints.
Results in numbers: to date, 9 trainings have been conducted, with more than 100 young people participating.
RICDOG plans to expand the scale of the “One Time Trainings” program. The initiative will be further developed in both in-person and online formats, in order to make educational opportunities accessible to a wider range of interested participants.
