A meeting with representatives of civil society from the Imereti region
Within the framework of the project “REACT for Georgia: Resilient, Engaged, Active Civil Society for Transformation” a meeting was held with representatives of civil society from the Imereti region. The meeting took place at the office of the Imereti Regional Civil Society Hub — the Research-Intellectual Club “Dialogue of Generations” (RICDOG), where: • Participants discussed the current state and challenges faced by civil society; • Representatives had the opportunity to share organizational experiences and exchange perspectives; • Attendees were introduced to the EU Information Corner established at the RICDOG office, presented by Secretary General Irakli Tevzadze. A bit more about the project: React for Georgia aims to strengthen civil society in Georgia’s regions, promote democratic governance, and increase citizen engagement. The project focuses on ensuring institutional development and sustainability of the civil sector. Within the framework of the project, RICDOG serves as the Civil Society Hub for the Imereti region and is actively working to strengthen the local civil society ecosystem. The project is implemented with the support of the European Union and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation.
