
Strong self-government – for active youth
The goal of the project was: to create student self-government at Iberia College,develop the competencies of young people, and establish student self-government as a sustainable institution.
Activities implemented within the framework of the project:
1. Formation of student self-government:
• Development of an institutional model of student self-government in the college.
• Increasing student engagement in civic processes.
2. Development of key competencies:
• Organizing a 4-day camp using non-formal education approaches, where students worked on various topics, including:
• Leadership development;
• Teamwork;
• Civil liability.
3. Organizing activities and meetings:
• Trainings and meetings were held within the framework of the program, aimed at strengthening student activity.
Project results:
• Sustainable Institute:
As a result of the project, a student self-government was formed at Iberia College, which continues to operate as a sustainable institution.
• Activating youth:
Students became more involved in the governance of college life and civic processes.
• Skills development:
Participants developed key competencies, including leadership and communication skills.
Duration:
The project was implemented over 3 months and was repeated twice.

Project significance:
The project, by establishing student self-government at the Iberia College, has created a sustainable and inclusive platform for young people, which allows students to actively engage in the development of the college and the local community.
