GAME Zone

"GAME Zone" creates an alternative space for young people in Baghdati.

This is a youth center/space in which youth activities are carried out.

Within the framework of the project, 5 youth workers were initially selected who, using the gamification method, conducted various educational games and exercises, helping young people implement initiatives aimed at developing personal, civic, and other competencies in young people.

The goal of the "GAME Zone" project is to create a space for young people aged 14 to 29 living in Baghdati Municipality that will support their development of personal skills and competencies, activation, and involvement in the decision-making process at the local level.

Within the framework of the project, a youth platform "Game Zone" will be created in Baghdati Municipality, which is a model of a youth center and will operate in 3 main directions:

1) A constantly accessible alternative gathering, entertainment and recreation space for young people;

2) A platform for developing competencies and skills, which will be made possible through games conducted by youth workers in the GAME zone;

3) and a program to encourage, develop, and support initiatives.

The project is implemented by the Research-Intellectual Club "Dialogue of Generations" with the support of the Bagdati Municipality City Hall and is funded by the LEPL Youth Agency, within the framework of the grant competition of the Million Fund, which aims to strengthen youth organizations in the regions and transfer key competencies to young people through non-formal education.

The project ran for 9 months in 2020-2021. Since April 2021, with the involvement of RICDOG, the project has continued to work independently (without funding).

The space is still functioning today.
