Young Leaders Camp of Western Georgia

The Young Leaders Camp of Western Georgia brought together 19 young people from 5 regions — Imereti, Adjara, Samegrelo, Racha-Lechkhumi, and Guria.

Within the camp, participants engaged in an intensive learning process focused on the development of key competencies. The programme covered important areas such as leadership, teamwork, initiative management, active citizenship, and digital/media communication.

The learning process was based on non-formal education and youth work approaches, ensuring active participation, experiential learning, and the development of practical skills.

The main aim of the camp was to strengthen the capacities of young leaders in Western Georgia, facilitate experience sharing among participants, and create a space where young people could develop their ideas and engage in civic activities.

Among the speakers/facilitators of the sessions were:

  • Irakli Tevzadze – General Secretary of RICDOG, youth worker
  • Nugzar Kokhreidze – Founder/Chairman of RICDOG, trainer and coach
