Free Educational Program for Socially Vulnerable Youth – ART is Fun+

The Research-Intellectual Club “Dialogue of Generations” (RICDOG) is launching a new free educational program for socially vulnerable children. The program, titled “ART is Fun+”, will be implemented through the Orbeliani Meti platform and financed via crowdfunding. This initiative aims to support children from socially disadvantaged families, particularly those who were included in the list of beneficiaries during RICDOG’s 2024 charity campaigns. Open Call for Young Leaders

Within the framework of the project “Act for Georgia: A strong and active civil society for change”, funded by the European Union (EU) and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation (KAS), an open competition is announced to select young leaders in 10 regions of Georgia. This initiative aims to strengthen the civic engagement of young people in the regions of Georgia, promote the implementation of inclusive and representative youth initiatives, identify the needs of local communities by young people, and participate in solving them. The selected young people will actively cooperate with regional civil society organizations, conduct youth initiatives (public meetings, discussions, community events, etc.), and prepare recommendations on youth issues within the framework of a ten-month paid program. Informational Meeting on the European Union at RICDOG

RICDOG held an information meeting with young people, which was dedicated to the history of the European Union, its structures, and Georgia-EU relations. The meeting was chaired by RICDOG Secretary General Irakli Tevzadze. The participants discussed the role and importance of the European Union, its historical development, and the opportunities that the European Union creates in various formats. During the discussion, young people shared their views, ideas, and opinions, which allowed them to better understand issues related to the European Union. This meeting was held for participants of the RICDOG Volunteer Program, and its goal is to deepen knowledge and develop critical thinking among young people. The program offers young people a space to acquire new knowledge and experience, which allows them to be involved in the development of society through volunteering.

RICDOG Volunteer Club started

The young people selected as a result of the interview participated in introductory activities at the first meeting, talked about their expectations, and the contribution they will make to the club's activities. They also learned about the history, structure, and main directions of the organization. About 40 young people expressed their desire to participate in the program. The selected participants will receive various types of experience related to the planning and implementation of activities for three months.
