Social Entrepreneurship Promotion Program in the Imereti Region

The project aims to raise awareness of the importance of social entrepreneurship among young people and popularize social entrepreneurship ideas in the Imereti region, using the principles of non-formal education and youth work.

Within the framework of the project, young people received information about the importance, principles, and practical examples of social entrepreneurship.

A social entrepreneurship promotion campaign was planned and implemented with the involvement of young people, aiming to bring information to a wide audience and involve young people in the development of social entrepreneurship ideas.

The program was implemented over 5 months and included various innovative and practical activities.

The project was implemented with the support of the Young Ambassadors of Social Entrepreneurship Project, which is implemented by the Center for Strategic Research and Development of Georgia (CSRDG) within the framework of the “Development of Social Entrepreneurship for a Sustainable and Inclusive Society” program, with funding from the European Union and Bread for the World.

• Partner:

The program partner is the Research-Intellectual Club “Dialogue of Generations” (RICDOG).

Results:

• Young people gained practical knowledge and experience in social entrepreneurship.

• Irakli Tevzadze became Georgia's Best Young Social Entrepreneurship Ambassador of 2024, which is another testament to the program's success.

• The project had a significant impact on the promotion of social entrepreneurship in the Imereti region and strengthened the engagement of young people in the development of an inclusive and sustainable society.
