“UG Youth Club” — A New Opportunity for 9th–12th Grade Students in Kutaisi

The University of Georgia, in cooperation with the Research-Intellectual Club “Dialogue of Generations” (RICDOG), is launching the “UG Youth Club” programme in Kutaisi. Designed for students in grades 9–12, the programme aims to create a space for non-formal education, personal development, and the discovery of young people’s interests and potential.

The “UG Youth Club” is implemented by the University of Georgia in cooperation with partner organizations in Gori, Kutaisi, and Rustavi. In Kutaisi, the programme is implemented in partnership with the Research-Intellectual Club “Dialogue of Generations” (RICDOG).

What does the programme offer young people?

Through the programme, young people will have an opportunity to better understand their interests, skills, and values, reflect on their educational and professional future, and develop a range of essential life skills.

The club’s activities are based on the principles of non-formal education and experiential learning. Meetings will include practical activities, discussions, and group work, allowing participants not only to gain new knowledge but also to exchange experiences, express their views, and actively engage in the learning process.

Who can participate?

The Kutaisi “UG Youth Club” is open to students in grades 9–12 who live in Kutaisi or nearby municipalities and are ready to actively participate in the club’s activities throughout the programme.

The programme will begin at the end of September 2026 and continue through December. Meetings will take place at least once a week outside school hours, with each session lasting approximately two hours.

Participants will be selected in two stages. Applications will first be reviewed, followed by interviews with shortlisted candidates.

The application deadline is September 13, 2026.

Through the “UG Youth Club,” another space will be created in Kutaisi where young people can focus on their personal development, discover their interests and potential, connect with their peers, and make more informed decisions about their future.
